Dear FVSO Community,

The FVSO enters its forty-first season with remaining uncertainties regarding the impact of the pandemic on performance schedules and access to venues, which our community will find safe and acceptable. Nevertheless, our music director and players are eager to perform together for you. Several members performed and recorded a string program on May 19. You can access it through a link on our website,, or on our partner SCTV’s website where several of our past programs are also available.

We are presenting two summer outdoor concerts of popular music on the lawn at the First Church Congregational, 1652, on June 19 and July 17. These concerts are free to the public, however we are requesting canned food or monetary donations to the Farmington Food Pantry.

We know that individuals have different risk tolerances for attending functions indoors. Our board is considering options for the safety of everyone in bringing programs indoors as we enter the fall and winter seasons. Please visit our website for updates for program information.

The FVSO Board and members are grateful for the continued support of its active partners – advertisers, sponsors, donors, subscribers and concert-goers. The FVSO is a 503(c)3 organization and all donations are tax deductible.

We extend out heart-felt thanks for your support and engagement with the FVSO!

Mike Galluzzo
FVSO Board President
